Inspired by the Japanese tradition of Shou Sugi Ban, surface burning wood as a method of preservation/finish, these candle holders have been charred to set off the grain and create a dramatic effect.  A simple block with clipped corners, and specifically torched surfaces, is rustic as well as elegant, and will mix well with many styles.  All woods are sustainably forested domestic hardwoods.
 
This listing is for a set of our medium height candle holders in Ash wood, that has been geometrically shaped, and decoratively burned.  You can choose from just the holders, or add a pair of our hand cast and dipped beeswax tapers.
