Inspired by the Japanese tradition of Shou Sugi Ban, surface burning wood as a method of preservation/finish, these candle holders have been charred around the edges to set off the shape and create a dramatic effect.  All woods are sustainably forested domestic hardwoods.
 
This listing is for a set of our medium height candle holders in Maple with burned edges.  You can choose from just the holders, or add a pair of our hand cast and dipped beeswax tapers.

 As with all candles, Keep away from children, never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep wick trimmed to 1/4 inch.
