Thick 1/8", 5.5" long high carbon saw blade steel and paper phenolic scales with stainless pins. The mission was to make a knife that could be used in a garden or a kitchen. An all around utility knife.  We used some off-cuts from the actual saw blade that the knife was made from as a branding iron on the leather sheath.
